SafeWatch Whitemarsh allows residents to alert Whitemarsh Police to the presence of any video surveillance device on their property. Whitemarsh Police keep this list of addresses confidential, and cannot view the video without the property owner's consent. However, if a crime is reported in that general area, Whitemarsh Police then know to contact those homeowners for potential video evidence of the crime or suspects.
