Program Copy Request Form

Since our Government Access Channel's inception, residents have had the option to request DVD copies of original, WTV/Community Access-produced programming/content for personal, non-commercial viewing. Since then, much has changed, including a transition away from long programs and primarily towards shorter informational and event highlight videos, with WTV/Community Access content since 2020 made available 24/7 on our YouTube channel. 

For those who prefer a physical disc copy of a specific program/content, there are now three (3) options to choose from beginning in 2025: DVD, Blu-ray, or both. In other words, a single program can be requested on a DVD or a Blu-ray disc, or the same program on both disc types. Blu-ray is now offered so that programs/content produced in HD can be viewed with full, crystal-clear picture quality.

Please contact Wm. Community Access first to find out if the program/content you are requesting is available. Then, complete the updated Program Copy Request Form, accessible HERE. Simply download this interactive PDF form and complete the form by hand or on the computer (using Adobe Acrobat Reader). All completed forms MUST be submitted IN-PERSON, along with payment (listed below and on the Form), at the Whitemarsh Township Building. Pickup of completed disc(s) are also IN-PERSON at the Township Building. 

Finally, when filling in the Pickup date, please allow a MINIMUM 2 days' notice (not including Saturday and Sunday, or holidays in which Township offices are closed) to allow a thorough transfer of the requested program/content to disc, and ensure the disc plays back properly.

PREFERRED FORMAT FOR THE FOLLOWING WTV CONTENT
  • Content made PRIOR to July 2017
  • Content made from July 2017 onwards, 
    produced in HD but exists today in SD
  • Content made any time since 2010, HD or SD, if requester only has a DVD player/disc drive at home.
  • Content made from July 2017 onwards, 
    produced in HD and retained in that format.
  • Select HD programs made in the late-2010's retained in SD, but since restored to their 
    original HD.
  • A few original SD programs have been restored and upgraded to Full HD.
DISC PLAYBACK
  • Regular DVD player or disc drive
  • Can also be played on a Blu-ray player.
  • Blu-ray Player or disc drive REQUIRED
  • DVD players/disc drives do NOT recognize the larger Blu-ray format and will NOT play!
